We understand that while entering into the dance world can be very exciting for new students, it can also be overwhelming for parents!
This page was created to help answer
some of the initial questions that you may have.
OUR DANCE YEAR:
- begins the day after Labor Day (in September) & ends the last week of June
- ends with a revue the last Saturday of each June at the Heymann Performing Arts Center
- every student enrolled in a dance class participates in the annual revue
(The power tumbling class does not participate in the revue.)
FEES INVOLVED:
ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE:

MONTHLY TUITION:
- varies depending on the class(es) in which the student is enrolled
- click the 'Schedule & Tuition' tab for details
COSTUME DEPOSIT(S):
- 1 deposit due October 1st if enrolled in a hip hop class only
- 2 deposits due October 1st & November 1st if enrolled in one of the Preschool,
Kindergarten, Beginner, or Beginner Intermediate classes (younger classes)
- 3, 4, 5, or 6 deposits due October 1st, November 1st, December 1st, etc. if
enrolled in one of the Intermediate or above classes (older classes)
REVUE FEE:
- due April 1st
- pays for the Heymann PAC rental, technicians, props, backdrops, tickets to the revue,
1 revue program per student, etc.
REVUE DVD FEE:
- due May 1st
- pays for a high quality DVD of the revue
- videoed & produced by Focus Productions
- you will receive the DVD by mail at the end of the summer

FUNDRAISERS:
- 2 fundraisers are organized in September & October to help defer the cost of
the costume deposit(s) & revue fee listed above
COSTUMES:
- we provide you with worry free costume arrangements, which means:
* costume deposits include the cost of in-house alterations
* costumes are steamed & professionally packaged
* costumes & accessories are organized, labeled, and distributed during costume meetings
* costume sheets, which explain how costumes, makeup, hair, etc. are expected to be worn, are provided
REVUE PROGRAM:
- includes a routine line-up & other revue highlights
- includes a group picture of each class
- you may purchase individual picture space in the program
- or you may sell advertisement space to family members or local businesses as a fundraiser to build
credit for free picture space
- you can also purchase picture packages to be mailed to you
- examples of revue programs from previous years are located in our lobby
OUR INSTRUCTORS:
- provide your child with a comprehensive dance education, while maintaining
positions as positive role models
- believe that dance can be innovative, yet remain conservative through age
appropriate music, choreography, & costumes

OUR OFFICE:
- provides you with updates & schedules throughout the dance year via email, text messages,
& signs posted throughout our campus
- offers convenient & secure online account management & bill pay
- strives to maintain efficient office procedures in order to create an environment
focused purely on dance
- will provide you with the following information upon registering:
* Annual Calendar, which includes every important date & holiday closure
* Detailed Payment Information
* Classroom Information, which includes proper classroom attire, photos of the correct shoes, attendance regulations, etc.
* General Studio Policies
